Calorie Counter

2015 - 




When I walked in, the Counter caught fire. Must have been my sparkling personality. I kinda have that kind of effect on people but in-animate objects = 1st time. Must celebrate !!!

For the money one pays for sandwich @ Rs.890, this is too little, too costly. Had it been 4 sandwiches then maybe its worth the spent cash. But no mad bathroom 100 meter dash = good sign !!!
One needs to be a Billionaire to eat here on a daily basis at the rate of Rs.1500 x 3 meals [ approximately ] and go home [ still hungry ] and having broken the bank account in the process

Note to self - does one loose weight just looking at the Menu with the prices. I lost a couple of pounds  on day 1 with no exercise by mere observation alone. Amazing !!!

Went in hungry, came out starving, so much that I can eat 3 elephants and still have room for desert.

But im a sucker for healthy food, now im a frequent visitor to Calorie Counter !!!

Healthyliving - Day 6

Breakfast 

Tuna, vegetables on multiseed  brown bread

Lunch 

Chicken curry, vegetables with 1 cup of red rice

Afternoon

selection of seasonal cut fruits with non fat yoghurt

Dinner 

Atta flour chapatthi served with fish curry

Conclusion - 1 week weight loss meal plan 
  • on a scale of - bad/ okay/ good/ better/ best. Verdict is = BEST 
  • Delivery is always punctual [ something very rare in srilanka ]
  • not a fan of getting woken up at 7:30 AM for breakfast, i need my beauty sleep !!!
  • Food from day 1 has been [ best ] with no hint of being spoilt even when kept for 2 hrs post delivery [ had things to do, so, ate later ]
  • Food can be a tad larger, when considering i come from, having eaten 100 eggs a day/ 3 kg chicken a day, 8 meals a day, eat large pizza per meal [ 2 large pizzas a day ]
  • I do recycle the food containers into other home projects like wifi boosters
  • Lets hope, they stay in business for years and years [ rare sight in todays world ]
  • Orders taken via email would be a welcome new feature 
  • Healthyliving Android/ iPhone app, where [ menu of the day ] or placing orders would be nice.

Hippie Chippie - Ocean Club Sandwich

Ocean club sandwich

  • Ocean Club Sandwich - Rs.590
              Ingredients - Premium Fish Fillet, Egg,  Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber & Slice of Premium Tasty Cheese on Toasted White or Brown Bread

This sandwich was simply delicious. One can safely conclude, this is a " full meal " given the platter variety with each potion.  But, it could have been a tad larger, for those of us who can eat a large pizza and still feel hungry.
